In the wake of 9-11, Trevor Keyes saw a need for a better way of selling and providing security systems for America's families.

Trevor Keyes teamed up with a business partner whom he knew from his days working as a young cell phone company manager and the Firstline alarm security company was born.

His service as a missionary in Peru with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints had given him experience knocking on doors and reaching out to people in need. That model of direct human contact struck Trevor Keyes as an excellent basis for selling home security systems.

Together, Trevor Keyes and his partner built a direct-sales force comprised up mostly of young college students who worked mainly in the summers in cities across America.

They developed a solid training program for their sales force, provided generous rewards for successful sales, and gave thousands of students what proved to be highly lucrative summer jobs.

From 2002 through 2006, Firstline was the fastest growing alarm company in the nation.

By 2003, Firstline was ranked by the National Alarm Computer Center as the nation's 6th largest alarm company.

In 2006, Firstline saw more than 400% growth in sales, and ranked in the top 300 fastest growing companies in the nation.

Firstline has won recognition from numerous industry watch groups and analysts for its leadership in the fast growing bundled services sector.

Firstline is the first home alarm computer security company to bundle services including IP phone, IP video and broadband internet.

Prior to starting Firstline, Trevor Keyes co-founded and served as CEO for the cellular distribution company Future Phones, of Bellevue Washington.

Trevor Keyes attended Utah Valley State College, and Weber State University. He is a member of the National Rifle Association, and an active member of the both the state and national Republican Parties.
